If one picture is worth a thousand words, then I have enough words to fill a book with memories of Dr. Don Sisk.

As I’ve looked through hundreds of pictures this week since Dr. Don Sisk’s Homegoing, I’ve been filled with gratitude for his friendship over the past thirty-five years. (Tap through the carousel below to see more pictures.)

I thank God for his steadfastness in the Word, his compassion for the lost, his faithful encouragement to our church family, his investment in West Coast Baptist College students, and his genuine love for me and my family. It has been one of the great privileges of my life to call him my friend and to serve as his pastor.

While we already miss him greatly, his influence continues through the missionaries he encouraged, the pastors he mentored, the students he trained, and the souls reached through churches planted around the world as a direct result of his ministry. His race is finished, but the eternal fruit of his life will continue until Christ returns.

Dr. Sisk’s Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. I am honored to officiate it.

Calvary Baptist Church Red Bank
5201 Dayton Boulevard
Chattanooga, Tennessee 37415

The service will be live-streamed at www.calvaryredbank.org/watch-live.
