Continue Discipleship

I am very excited to announce the release of an all-new discipleship curriculum, written here at Lancaster Baptist Church: Continue: a personal journey in biblical discipleship.

This resource has been in progress for over two years and is the compilation of hundreds of hours of developing and beta testing.

You can download a sample lesson, but I’d also like to give you an overview of what makes this curriculum uniquely suited to local church discipleship:

Features

As we developed this course, there were several big-picture details that were important to us:

  • 14 fully-developed lessons, written to span exactly 14 weeks.
  • Written so a layman can easily teach
  • Emphasis on the local church
  • Baptist in doctrine
  • Uses KJV Scriptures

Lessons

Each lesson includes the following:

  • A straightforward outline
  • Thorough support Scriptures
  • Conversation starters to spark dialog
  • Five daily devotions that support the lesson topic

Bonuses

The following release week bonuses are available if you order this week (ending Friday, May 22):

  • 10 Copies for $10 Each: Order 10 or more copies, and receive each for just $10 (a 33% discount).
  • Live Webinar: On Thursday, May 28, I’ll be hosting an invitation-only live webinar including practical helps for the Continue program as well as Q&As.
  • Promotional Downloads: Normally priced at $9.99, these slides, poster, and bulletin inserts which can be used to invite new Christians in your church to participate in discipleship are included for free.

Again, these bonuses are only available if you purchase Continue by Friday, May 22.

Training

One final note I’d like to mention in conjunction with this course is that Spiritual Leadership Conference this year (June 14–17) will include two sessions specifically devoted to coming alongside new Christians and helping them build spiritual lives through discipleship. These sessions will include practical teaching for individual disciplers as well as help for building a church discipleship ministry. (For more information or to register for the conference, visit slconference.com.)

I am excited about this new resource and am thankful for every Christian who has a heart to ground new believers in their faith. Please pray with us that the Lord will bless this resource and that Continue will help many young Christians to continue in God’s Word as they grow in personal discipleship.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;—John 8:31
