The purpose of West Coast Baptist College is to train laborers for His harvest. To God’s glory, we have seen over 700 graduates enter the harvest field, and next week, over 150 additional graduates will join them.
During a recent preaching trip in Northern California, I met with a number of our graduates who are currently serving the Lord in the ministry. Brother Gabriel Ruhl, assistant pastor in Chico, California, helped to organize a regional alumni dinner. It was rewarding to see these graduates, many of whom now have families of their own, striving together for the cause of Christ.
As we gathered together for a brief time of fellowship, the alumni gave testimony of what God had been doing in their lives since graduation. Some are pastoring, others are assistant pastors, youth pastors, and school teachers. All are faithful to the call of God on their lives. I believe this to be just a preview of great things to come as we continue to equip laborers for the harvest.
