Every pastor is an interim pastor. We are undershepherds of Christ’s flock, and we need to be training leaders with tomorrow in mind.

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.—2 Timothy 2:2

I not only want to finish my course having been faithful to the Lord, my family, and the ministry; but I also want to finish having trained others who will carry on the work of God. Our goal in this life is to pass the truth to the generation behind us in such an effective way that they can pass it to the generation coming behind them.
