MHW audiobook

We’re so excited to announce the release of our first professionally-recorded audiobook through Striving Together Publications.

The book is Making Home Work in a Broken Society, a highly-practical book with biblical principles for Christian parents that I wrote this fall.

To help you determine if you need to get this audio book, I’ve created a simple test for you.

Audiobook Test

Test instructions: Please note how many of the following statements are true:

  • I haven’t yet read Making Home Work either as a hard copy or ebook. (As many as 15–20 percent of adults prefer an audiobook to other formats of reading. If you haven’t read a print or digital copy, the audiobook may be just what you need.)
  • My spouse has not yet read the book. (Perhaps having the audiobook would make the content more accessible to your spouse. When it comes to parenting, it is always helpful if both parents are on the same page—literally and figuratively.)
  • I know someone who has not yet read this book. (If you are like most Christian parents, you have friends who are also parents. Perhaps gifting the audiobook to them would be an encouragement and help for them.)

Scoring key: If anywhere between one to three of these statements were true, you should get this audiobook.

This audiobook is available through ChristianAudio, iTunesAudible, and several other retailers.

(It is on sale at ChristianAudio through this Friday, July 1, 2016, for just $9.95. Use code HALFOFF at checkout.)

Free Ebook Offer

And one more thing: To encourage both parents—regardless of their book format preferences—to have access to this book, if you email info@strivingtogether.com, mentioning this blog post and including an attachment with a receipt of purchase for the audiobook from one of the retailers listed above, they will respond with an ebook of Making Home Work, free of charge! This offer is only good through Friday, July 1, 2016, so order now!
