To properly use any tool, you must first understand the task which you are attempting to accomplish. This has never been more true than in relation to using technology in ministry.

It appears to me that there are two extreme ideals in how to help people come along in their spiritual growth—one with an external focus, and one with an experiential focus. Not surprisingly, both of these extremes are reflected in the ways which leaders who hold them use—or refuse to use—technology in ministry.

In this Growth Points video, we look at how our philosophy of ministry plays out in our use of technology. Specifically, we look at developing a philosophy of ministry that finds a balance in God-centered worship while using technology as a tool towards a specific end.
